Niko's is considered a dive bar even so it was my favorite place to go , Sara incredible, however tonight Daniel ruined it for me . The little girly man chose to tell me they didn't have what I ordered instead of doing his job and making our drinks,we ordered peach rings a dirk Sara has been making for me for the last year.

Niko's is where you can get a great drink and if you are a smoker it is smoker friendly I would assume because they don't serve food. But they have a good jukebox and nice pool tables and darts.

While in the men's bathroom I realized...BEST HAND SOAP EVER!!!!!! Wow I wash my hands alot and have been through many different soaps, but dang dude!! Can't stop smelling my hands. Great service from Joe the bartender as well, he knew how to make a person feel welcome...just like that soap I was talken about earlier. Will definitely come back to drink up and wash up!!!

Friendly. Good service. Smoking allowed (which is very rare). Cleaned up since my last review. Okay rumors are going around that smoking may be banned. Would be sad for an old die hard. Smoking and drinking go together. like the masks and quarantine, it seems that we arecompelled to cower in our homes.

The bartender Joe is very good at his job and very customer friendly. It was my first time in Niko's in year's but I was with my 2 daughter n laws who new Joe and several customers from previously working with them. We had a great time and will definitely be returning.

One of my favorite bar experiences ever! Such a great night! Fun environment and great service. Our bartender "Z" was fantastic!🏅so welcoming, and friendly she deserves a raise! Idk how they got such a great employee but I'm thoroughly impressed. 💯 I wish her all the luck in the world. …

Nice Dive Bar! They have plenty of pool tables & dart boards. Karaoke on Sat night. I don't think they serve food.

Went here on a visit to town and we loved it! Seems funny to see the negative reviews from people who apparently don't understand what a good dive bar is like. Sorry, if you don't dig it then go somewhere else, like the yuppie pizza place across the street. We loved Niko's and the bartender who said she was one of like 8 sisters - super awesome. I don't smoke, but no problem with the smoke. Reminded me of the good old days when chicks were chicks. Will be back!

One of only two places in Colorado you can smoke inside while commiserating, having a brewski, and playing pool. Ask for Sara, she makes a dayum good drink as well. Best dive bar in Montrose 😍

This is the epitome of the great American dive bar. It has cheap prices, pool tables, and enough second hand smoke to save you from having to buy cigarettes. One of the very last places where you can smoke inside. Some people have said they saw customers smoking or that the bartender was rude or something. It's a floppy dive bar! Isn't that why you come to one?!?! For what it's worth, I like the bartenders. They've always have been fine with me. If you're expecting someone to bow and curtsey to you, head to Telluride. But if you like dive bars, this is a "must"! Don't die before making it here.
